Abyadh – The Urban Oasis – Al Reem Island

In response to the widespread economic development in the Middle East, the Al Reem Central Business master plan is designed to propel growth in Abu Dhabi and to serve as a model for future development projects in the region.

Located at the northern shores of Al Reem Island and adjacent to Abu Dhabi Financial District at Suwa Island and Abu Dhabi City Center, the new district shall strengthen the competitiveness of the center city for business, entrepreneurship, culture, living, and tourism – including the complement of the Abu Dhabi Central Business District as a Global Business Center.

The 62.200-square-meter site is part of a reclaimed Island connected to the mainland via causeways. With strong grid organization, the new Reem Island Central Business District is bisected by a mixed-use boulevard that terminates at both ends with grand public spaces. Tamouh and PNYG:WORLDs development plan calls for a variety of buildings and amenities, including office and residential towers, cultural venues, and a verdant park.
